Kylie + Hunter
Kylie + Hunter are high school sweethearts; growing up together in the small town of Welches, OR, at the base of the majestic Mount Hood. Sharing a love for the natural world [particularly forest and mountains], Kylie + Hunter knew they wanted the Mount Hood National Forest to serve as host for their Oregon elopement!
We love being able to make adventure elopement days happen, especially those that incorporate so much of what you + your partner love to do together. Hunter + Kylie spend most of their free time outdoors, enjoying hiking escapades amongst the abundant trees + trails that Oregon has to offer. They had a vision: and it is a huge part of what makes us not only adventure elopement photographers but also planners/guides, that allowed us to help them make their Mount Hood elopement vision a reality!
The Salmon River travels through forested canyons and bubbling rapids, through the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness in Mount Hood National Forest. A cascading river flow as the soundtrack to Kylie + Hunter's elopement ceremony: what could be more perfect?
Hunter + Kylie skipped over rocks and logs, making their way to the river's edge while their parents looked on from the shoreline. Having their parents present during their elopement ceremony was important to them, and is completely doable if having your loved ones around to support you is what you gravitate towards when planning your elopement adventure! From having a few close friends + family members surrounding you during your ceremony, to planning a celebratory reception at a later date, eloping doesn't mean you are alone.
Contrarily, having loved ones bear witness to your vows doesn't mean you can't have those peaceful and intimate moments alone, either.
Vows said, kisses planted, and rings adorning each other's left hands, Kylie + Hunter bid farewell to their parents. The four of us would then venture out to one of our favorite areas near Mount Hood for a picnic, just the two of them.
Hunter + Kylie basked in newly-married bliss, tromping through the trail leading out to a scenic vista of Oregon's tallest mountain. Turning a corner, the stunning landscape was theirs to admire for miles and miles. Hiking boots underneath their wedding attire and Oregon soil underneath them, Kylie + Hunter ate, twirled, giggled, swapped affection, and celebrated getting married in an enchanting location that deeply meant so much to them.
