A mere 40 or so miles from Seattle lies Rattlesnake Lake and Rattlesnake Ledge; a beautiful gem in the Cascade foothills of Washington and the perfect setting for this adventure elopement. We had gone to Seattle the day before, to explore and celebrate our seven year wedding anniversary. The next day after breakfast we traveled to Rattlesnake Lake to meet Winnifred + Michael for this intimate elopement shoot! Passing by our fellow hikers and hearing their well wishes, Winnifred was a total rockstar doing the 4+ mile Rattlesnake Ledge hike in heels! This rare sunny March day in the Pacific Northwest coupled with dancing under the trees and lots of friendly hikers and their dogs, we wouldn’t have wanted to spend our anniversary any other way than hiking up a mountain for an adventurous Washington elopement!
