Just along Washington State's Highway 14, mere steps from the highway itself, lies an old stone building known by some as the Skamania Stone House. Google search results for the location are scattered with GPS points and step by step instructions to finding the house, because if you blink, you just might miss it. Nestled in the pure green forest, it is the most breathtaking place for an elopement. Sarah + Samuel have a love story for the ages. A few months back they decided to take the plunge and elope at the magical Skamania Stone House. With their two adorable children and Sarah's siblings in tow, they traveled nearly three hours to the forest along the Columbia River Gorge. Teaming up with Trixie Ortiz of Younique Events and Design, she brought the richness of the Skamania Stone House to life with all of her elegant and deliciously Pacific Northwest touches. And is it really a wedding in the Pacific Northwest if it doesn't involve rain? They say rain on your wedding day is good luck...well, we aren't sure who "they" are but we know that Sarah + Samuel won't need luck. Weathering the relentless rain in the lush forest of Washington, these two lovebirds are clearly meant to last.
